Two run over by train

Two persons died after they were run over by trains in separate incidents in the city on Thursday.

An elderly person identified as Bheemaiah (60) was killed after a train hit him near Lingampally railway station. He was a resident of Secunderabad.

In another incident, an unidentified person aged around 53 years died while he was crossing the railway tracks at Vidyanagar.

He was clad in blue jeans and same colour shirt.

The body was preserved at Gandhi hospital mortuary for identification and autopsy.

Three held for mobile chip piracy

The Cyberabad police on Thursday arrested three persons for allegedly indulging in mobile chip piracy.

Computers and memory cards were also recovered from the possession of the accused.

Police in coordination with Indian Music Industry raided shops at Malkajgiri and nabbed the accused.
