TDP observes relay fast
The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) on Friday organised a relay hunger strike near Sub-Collector’s office here to register its protest against what it described as the arbitrary suspension of party MLA Karanam Balaramakrishna Murthy from the Assembly.
TDP urban president Gadde Rammohan, who spoke on the occasion, said that the entire blame for the suspension of the TDP member would have to be placed on Speaker K.R. Suresh Reddy if corrective measures were not taken immediately.
He said that the Opposition leaders were being harassed in various manners ever since the Congress party had come to rule the State and at the Centre.
