Voters’ list being displayed for 7 days

PUDUCHERRY: The Elections Department of the Government of Puducherry has displayed the voters’ list at all polling stations and offices of Electoral Registration Officers and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers from Friday for seven days, except holidays.

Voters whose names have been included in the list can collect their identity card in the polling stations during the period.

According to a press release, the final publication of the voters’ list of the newly delimited 30 Assembly constituencies of the Union Territory was done on Friday.

Voters had been requested to verify their names and photographs.

In addition to this, the voters’ list without photographs would be posted on www.ceopondicherry.nic.in, in due course.

Those who were not able to collect the identity cards during this period could collect them from the respective Electoral Registration Officers or Assistant Electoral Registration Officers, the release said.
