Broadband connection

Thiruvananthapuram: The BSNL has offered to provide broadband connection to government, aided and unaided schools by September 15.

CGM of BSNL K.S. Sreenivasan said at an Edusat video conference of district-level officers of the IT@School Project and the BSNL here on Saturday that the broadband connection would be given to all government high schools and aided and unaided schools which had remitted the first instalment of fee for the purpose within the cut-off date.

Sixty five per cent of the government schools and 77 per cent of aided schools which had remitted the first instalment had already been provided broadband connection. — Special Correspondent
