Home Department criticised

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Secretary of the Congress Legislature Party K.C. Joseph said here on Saturday that the Home Department was trying to mislead the High Court by filing an affidavit suppressing information on political murders in Kannur district.

The claim that the CPI (M) had no role in the political violence was against the facts, he said.

BJP State president P.K. Krishnadas said in a statement here that the CPI (M) was trying to hide the fact that it was the complainant or accused in all cases of political violence in Kannur. — Special Correspondent
