Vishnu-Akhil duo takes the honours

CHENNAI: Vishnu Prasad and Akhil Devarag of Team Rams Racing won the Formula Hyundai endurance race at the ongoing J.K. Tyre National racing championship at the Madras motor race track here on Saturday.

The Rams Racing duo took the honours by completing 42 laps on the 3.7 km track within the allotted time of 90 minutes. The second place was clinched by Team Prime Racing - Rajaram and Siva Kumar - who completed 42 laps at an additional minute and 15 seconds more than the stipulated time.

Sudanand Rajan and Prithveen Rajan of Team Wallace Sports took the third place finishing two laps behind.

In the premium Formula Rolon category the pole position was nailed by Aditya Patel of Team Speed N.K. Racing. Starting second and third on the grid will be Akhil Khushlani of Team Red Rooster and Saahil Shelar of Team Speed N.K. Racing.
