Fire stations inaugurated

NEW DELHI: Delhi Fire Service would extend its coverage by establishing a fire station in each Assembly constituency, Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit said on Saturday while inaugurating two new fire stations at Tahirpur and Shastri Park in East Delhi.

While the former has been constructed on a 7,800 square metre plot at an approximate cost of Rs.2.88 crore, the latter has been constructed on a 5,832 square metre plot at a cost of Rs.2.73 crore, she said.
