Pithoragarh: Former Uttarakhand chief minister Bhagat Singh Koshiyari on Saturday said he never lobbied for a change of guard in the State. Mr. Koshiyari, allegedly behind a rebellion of party MLAs against Uttarakhand Chief Minister B.C. Khanduri recently, rubbished the charge that he had paraded 26 BJP MLAs before the high command in New Delhi on August 10 to press for a leadership change in the hill State. “The government is functioning properly. Why should I lobby for a change of guard in the State?,” he asked.
