TDP core committee meet on Telangana from September 2

TUNI: The crucial meeting of the Telugu Desam Party’s core committee on Telangana will be held on September 2, 4, 5 and 6 in Hyderabad. This was announced by the Polit Bureau member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu here on Saturday.

Speaking to reporters , he said that as the Assembly session was in progress, MLAs would be available on those days. MPs, district party presidents, State committee members and Polit Bureau members would be invited to take a final decision on Telangana issue. The core committee comprising Errabelli Dayakara Rao, K. Yerram Naidu, Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, K.E. Krishna Murthy and Nagam Janardhana Reddy would hear views and prepare a final report and submit the same to TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu. On the issue of the no-confidence motion tabled by his party against the Speaker, he said it would take two weeks’ time for discussion, but the monsoon session would conclude on September 6. He had, therefore, suggested adjournment of the House on September 5 and summoning it again the following day to discuss the motion.
