‘Prevent noise’

The Buddha Vihara Foundation Trust has urged the Deputy Commissioner of Endowments to see to it that festivals are celebrated without causing noise pollution and inconveniencing anybody. In a statement here, the trust cited a Supreme Court judgment in this regard. A similar appeal to the Police Commissioner last year resulted in controlling pollution, it stated.
