Two killed
Two persons were killed and three others suffered injuries in separate road accidents that took place on Sunday.
An eighth-standard student A. Balakrishna (14) died after the bicycle he was pedalling near his residence at Kolanguda in Ranga Reddy district.
His friend P. Mahender, however, escaped with minor injuries. The accident occurred while they were returning home from nearby Sintula village.
In another incident, an autorickshaw driver, Syed Kurshid Ali died on the spot after the autorickshaw he was driving was collided with a RTC bus at City College in Afzalgunj. Two passengers – Shensha Fathima (40) and Muthul Begum (43) received injuries. The women were admitted to Osmania General Hospital where their condition is stable.
The women hired the autorickshaw for going to Puranapul when the bus driver came in a negligent manner and rammed into the vehicle.
Farmer electrocuted
A farmer was electrocuted at his field near his house at Gumediveli village in Ranga Reddy district on Sunday. T. Parvathalu (42) was trying to put-off a transformer connection when he got electrocuted, according to police.
