Chiranjeevi regales the new entrants with quotes from the Quran


HYDERABAD: For the second successive day, actor-turned-politician, president of Praja Rajyam Party Chiranjeevi was presented caps by a strong contingent of Muslims from all the districts and the city. Prominent among those who called on PRP chief at his plush office in Jubilee Hills were former MLA S.A. Khaleel Basha from Kadapa, convenor, Muslim Representation Forum, Syed Rafi, former convenor, Lok Satta Party, Shaik Baji, both from Vijayawada and owner of the Madina Hotel in HyderabadKhalid.

Mr. Chiranjeevi went down memory lane, recalling his childhood when along with friends, he would literally wait for ‘Iftar’ to have biryani. He regaled the new entrants to his party with wit and quotes from the Quran as they left, they wore broad grins. Former MP C. Ramachandraiah (Kadapa) spent a few hours at the party office, introducing his supporters to Mr. Chiranjeevi.
