VIJAYAWADA: Close on the heels of the visit of ‘Homam’ film team just a couple of days ago, the producer-director-actors’ team of ‘Ashta Chemma’, a small budget movie due for release on Friday, descended on the premises of Inox theatre on Tuesday for a premiere show. Clean entertainerThe film, which turned out to be a surprise clean entertainer with loads of fresh talent, kept the audience glued to their seats. During intermission and at the end of the show, producer P. Rammohan, director Indraganti Mohana Krishna, who is known for his earlier films ‘Grahanam’ and ‘Maya Bazar’ that won critical acclaim, lead actors Nani and Swathi of ‘Colors’ fame engaged the audience in an attempt to get their feedback. The lanky Srinivas Avasarala, who plays another lead character in the movie and makes a lasting impression, is said to have left for New Jersey in the US to continue with his job. “Ela Undi (how is the movie)?” asked Swathi, which elicited a big round of applause or a roar from the audience. The response clearly gladdened the hearts of the producer and the director. Nani said the audience’s applause had come as an energy booster and given him and his colleagues a new confidence. about the success of the movie.
