Water levels up

THIRUVANANTHAPRUAM: The water levels of Idukki, Kallada and Idamalayar reservoirs have increased during the period from August 26 to September 1. In Idukki reservoir the water level increased by 2.44 ft., in Kallada by 3.08 ft. and in Idamalayar by 3.74 ft. The water levels of Idukki, Kallada and Idamalayar reservoirs stood at 2340.36 ft., 346.85 ft., and 494.42 ft. respectively. Compared to the same period last year, the water level is low in all the three reservoirs. —Special Correspondent
