Restrained

Kochi: Ernakulam Principal Sessions Judge P.S. Antony has restrained the returning officer from counting votes and declaring the results of elections to be held to various trade unions affiliated to the MACTA Federation.

The elections are scheduled for September 6 and 7. The interim injunction was passed on a petition filed by Aleppey Ahasraf, director and member of the MACTA director’s union. — Special Correspondent
