A different experience for NCA’s u-19 trainees

Bangalore: The National Cricket Academy’s under-19 trainees had a different experience over the last four days.

The batch of 31 players along with the coaching staff spent their time at the Pegasus Institute located in the City’s outskirts.

The focus was on team-building and bonding as the junior crop perhaps took a leaf out of the experiences of the National squad, which a few years back under the tutelage of the then skipper Rahul Dravid, had done a similar exercise at the facility.

“The aim was to get the trainees away from the routine and also help them enjoy their team-building sessions,” said an academy official. — Principal Correspondent
