The President of India, Smt. Pratibha Devisingh Patil, is happy to know that the University of Madras, Chennai is celebrating the Valedictory Function of the 150th Anniversary of its foundation on September 5, 2008.

The President extends her warm greetings and felicitations to the management, staff and the students of the University and wishes the Celebrations all success.
