Minister participates in Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations

Chittoor: Medical Education and Health Insurance Minister Galla Auna Kumari launched Ganesh Deeksha programme organised to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi at Varasiddi Vinayaka Swamy temple at Kanipakam, Irala mandal on Wednesday amidst chanting of vedic hymns by priests.

Speaking on the occasion she assured that the temple administration will be provided with all necessary facilities to the devotes for performing their deeksha.

The annual bramhostavam of the temple also started on Wednesday. The Minister participated in the program.

Speaking on the occasion the Additional Commissioner and temple Executive Officer G. Kesavulu told that special pooja’s will be held from September 3 to September 23. Annadhanam will be provided for all the visiting pilgrims. Cultural programs were arranged on each of 23 days.
