YSR hits out at Naidu

HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy launched a scathing attack against the Leader of Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu in the Assembly on Thursday and accused him of talking ‘as he likes’ for political gain.

Intervening during the debate on the resolution seeking to reduce the boundary of Kolleru Wildlife Sanctuary, he referred to the claim of Mr. Naidu that the TDP regime had issued GO 120 ( for protection of lake) but not implemented it and wondered whether he had “common sense”. He said that the Leader of Opposition had become a “laughing stock” and the people were thinking if he had gone “mad”.

Mr. Naidu earlier accused the government of bringing up the resolution as it was worried following TDP’s promise to reduce the boundary.
