Belgaum
Belgaum: The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB), Belgaum, has made arrangements to provide mobile vans to facilitate immersion of Ganesh idols. The facility is being provided in view of preventing pollution of open wells and other water bodies in the city. These mobile vans will be stationed at different localities on September 7, 11 and 13 during evening hours. They will be stationed on all the three days from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. near Shivalaya in Ramateerth Nagar and near the house of the late S.C. Nagalotimath on Bauxite Road; from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. near the State Bank of Mysore (SBM) in Mahantesh Nagar; from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hanuman Nagar Circle; from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. near Shivaji Garden in Shahpur and near SBM in Channamma Nagar; from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Basaveshwar Circle in Khasbag and near the Institute of Local Self Government Compound in Bhagyanagar; from 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. near Jain School in Vadgaon and second gate in Tilakwadi; and from 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Nath Pai Circle and Goaves, according to press release from the KSPCB here on Friday.
