Pakistan misusing aid to wage war against India: Obama
Washington: Accusing Pakistan of misusing the massive American aid to fight the war on terror, the Democratic nominee for the U.S. presidential election, Barack Obama, has said Islamabad is using these funds for “preparing for a war against India.”
Senator Obama vowed to hold Islamabad accountable for the massive military aid it had received from Washington if he was elected to the White House. He said his administration would increase pressure on Pakistan to come to terms with terrorist havens along its border with Afghanistan. “What we can do is stay focussed on Afghanistan and put more pressure on the Pakistanis,” he said in an interview with Fox News. — PTI
