It’s a treat for photo buffs

BANGALORE: This is a great opportunity for those who love photography to get acquainted with all the equipment related to the art under one roof.

“Photo Expo and Sign show 2008” an exhibition of photography equipment organised by the Villart Exposition opened on Friday.

The three-day exhibition will showcase over 1,000 products relating to photography. Cameras, lenses , mini-lab system, professional photo studio equipment, studio lighting accessories, reflectors, lighting systems, photo-connected books, and many others products are on display.

Over 50 exhibitors will showcase a variety of photography products of reputed manufacturers such as Kodak, Canvera, Apple and so on.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the honorary secretary of the All-India Photographic Trade Industry and Association Chandrakanth Shah. Actor Tara, who went round the stalls, said: ‘It would be exciting to the visitors to see the magic of digital technologies and view various equipment connected to photography under one roof. Professionals can get all information relating to photography, including digital updates in the exhibition.”

The event, being held at RBANMS Ground at Ulsoor between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., is on till September 7. Entry fee is Rs. 40.
