Food processing cluster approved

GULBARGA: The Centre has approved the proposal submitted by a non-governmental organisation (NGO) to set up a food processing cluster in Gulbarga at a cost of Rs. 23 lakh.

Chairperson of Sri Shakti Mahila Abhivruddhi Samasthe R.S. Vijayalakshmi said here on Saturday that the Union Government would fund Rs. 23 lakh for establishing the cluster with all the modern food processing machinery for the cluster of the self-help groups and a NGO to manufacture their products and market it. — Special Correspondent
