Haj flights from BIAL

BANGALORE: The Karnataka State Haj Committee has said that the Haj flights will be operated from the Bangalore International Airport near Devanahalli and not from HAL Airport. In a release here on Saturday, committee executive officer S. Tahsin Ahmed said this was communicated to the Secretary of Minority Welfare Department by the Chief Operations Officer of BIAL that Haj flights could not be operated from HAL Airport.
