Staff Reporter
ANANTAPUR: An accused in a murder case, Ramakrishna Reddy (40) of P. Narayanapuram village in Kuderu mandal, who was on bail, allegedly committed suicide on the district court premises here late on Friday night.
He stayed back in the complex after the case was adjourned in the evening.
Ramakrishna Reddy was an accused in the 2006 murder case of one Muthyala Reddy of the same village.
According to the police, he was noticed in an unconscious condition by the court staff on night duty and they immediately informed the police.
A 108 ambulance was summoned to move him to the general hospital. However, he died on way to the hospital.
The police found 32 pages in his packet containing a letter addressed to the judge, citing reasons for his suicide, other issues like the money he owed his friends and details of the case.
He also wrote some cell phone numbers requesting the judge to know the facts behind the murder.
