Kozhikode: The Onjiyam area committee office of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) in Vadakara was set on fire in the early hours of Sunday. AKG Mandiram is situated on the Kannur-Kozhikode National Highway stretch. Local people doused the fire. Files, papers and parts of some furniture at the office were burnt. The party organised a hartal from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the area. — Staff Reporter
