The leading members of the new Praja Rajyam are defectors from other parties. What is new and fresh with the party? Conglomeration of disgruntled lot who lost fame in their parent parties may not stick to the ideals of party founder Chiranjeevi. It is apparent on the face of it that Chiranjeevi is scared of facing polls in the absence of political bigwigs. When the TDP was formed, it was purely N.T. Rama Rao’s charisma that eventually brought landslide victory despite many new faces contesting the polls. N.S.R. Murthy Bolaram Post traffic personnel at Praja Rajyam officeI request the authorities to post about half-a-dozen traffic personnel near the Praja Rajyam office on Road No. 46, Jubilee Hills, to regulate traffic and to prevent traffic jams. Students and the staff of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, the campus of which is located at the end of Road No. 46 have to pass through the party office. About 400 teaching and non-teaching employees and about 1,500 to 2,000 students visit the campus daily. Further, 25 APSRTC buses from various points in the twin cities have to pass through this road and the entire road is jammed due to parking of VIP cars, scooters and the general public. In order to ensure free flow of traffic, it is essential that about half-a-dozen traffic policemen be posted right from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. so as to not to put the university staff, students and general public to inconvenience.
