10 kg gold looted near airport

HYDERABAD: Two persons armed with weapons looted more than 10 kg of gold jewellery from the employees of a courier company outside the cargo office of the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad on Sunday.

The value of the jewellery according to the invoice is Rs. 1.11 crore. The duo were said to be wielding a sword and a revolver. The jewellery was meant for delivery to different jewellers in the twin cities.
