Navy team conducts search

PATHANAMTHITTA: A six-member team of divers from the Southern Naval Command conducted a search in the Pampa on Monday for Renjeev, 27, who is missing from Saturday. Renjeev was a crew member of the ‘Keezhukara snake-boat which capsized in the river on Saturday. The Navy team leader, K.S. Rawat, said that Renjeev would have been washed away as there were strong currents in the swollen river. The team reached Aranmula following a special request from District Collector P.C. Sanalkumar on behalf of the Palliyoda Seva Sanghom. —Staff Reporter
