ERODE: Christians affiliated to Desiya Sirupanmaiyeenar Makkal Peravai, Erode, on Monday petitioned Collector against the violence in Orissa. ProtectionThey sought protection for Christian establishments and Christians and relief for the affected. The members, who took a march from CSI college on Brough Road to the Collectorate, also sought the arrest of those who indulged in violence. They also urged the Government to ban communal organisations that indulged in violence.
