Staff Reporter

.HYDERABAD: With shooting real estate prices, owning a home seems like a distant dream for many, especially the middle class.

However, MAA Television’s innovative game show ‘Bommarillu’ hosted by cine actress Suhasini Maniratnam turned this dream into a reality for T. Venkata Ratnam and his daughter M. Soubhagyalaxmi.

Sponsored by Obili

The father-daughter duo from Jaggayapeta in Krishna district won a house situated at Kandawada near Chevella.

With 1,500 square feet of constructed area, the house located on 300 square yards plot was sponsored by Obili Infrastructure Private Ltd.

Announcing the winners at a press meet, Sharrath Marar, MAA TV CEO said, “Bommarillu is the biggest game show in South India and we are glad it could turn someone’s dream into a reality.”

He also said that Suhasini’s energy and vibrancy added colour to the overall show.

“I worked with a perfect team for this show and I am glad that I could be here to share the happiness with winners. "

“I feel like I have won the show,” said an excited Suhasini.

Ramachandra Reddy, Chairman, Obili Infrastructure Private Ltd, said that it took him just a few minutes to decide to sponsor the show.

“In business, it’s not always about taking but also about giving and I am thankful to MAA TV for giving me this opportunity,” he said.

Mr. Venkata Ratnam, a farmer, said that he had participated in the show only to share screen space with Suhasini and never imagined to win the show, while Soubhagyalaxmi, a housewife said that she never imagined winning the game show.

“This day will be my most memorable day,” she said.
