Basu undergoes CT scan again

KOLKATA: Veteran Marxist leader Jyoti Basu on Monday underwent another CT scan and a 10-member medical board will meet on Tuesday morning to study the report and review the course of management, an official spokesman at the AMRI hospital said.“He is alright and under medical observation. Monitoring is going on for checking his clinical status and some more imaging may be done,” the spokesman said.
President Pratibha DeviSingh Patil phoned in to make enquiries about Mr. Basu’s health on Monday.
