NCC cadets present ceremonial parade

VISAKHAPATNAM: Cadets participating in the ongoing All India Nau Sainik Camp-2008, being held at the erstwhile Naval Maritime Academy, presented a ceremonial parade at the Navy Shipwright School as part of their training curriculum.

Rear Admiral R.K. Dhowan, Chief of Staff of the Eastern Naval Command, reviewed the parade. Rear Admiral Anand G. Iyer, Additional Director-General at Headquarters, Director-General NCC, New Delhi, also visited the cadets at the camp. Captain Amar Singh Baghel, Camp Commandant, briefed about the progress of the activities.

He also reviewed the conduct of the ‘personality development capsule’ that was being organised for the cadets.

He interacted with cadets preparing ship-models that would be assessed on September 13. The cadets were taken to the Naval Dockyard and briefed about the work being carried out at the yard. The competitions will continue till September 14.
