Admission to Ambedkar varsity courses

VISAKHAPATNAM: The newly established Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University is introducing self-finance programmes in M.Sc. (bio-technology) and M.A. (social work) from this academic year, according to Registrar G. Gnanamani. Admission is based on the aggregate percentage of marks in group subjects of the qua lifying degree examination.

The sale of applications commences on Wednesday at the administrative office at Etcherla in Srikakulam and also at the Andhra University Directorate of Admissions, Visakhapatnam, and the AU campuses at Vizianagaram, Kakinada, Tadepalligudem.

The cost of each application form is Rs. 250.

Applications can also be downloaded from the university website www.brau.in. and a DD for Rs. 300 drawn in favour of the Registrar, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam, and payable at Andhra Bank, Etcherla, should be enclosed with each downloaded application.

The last date for submitting the application forms is September 20.
