Wagon derails

While being shunted on loop line

OFF THE TRACK: A goods wagon derailed at Peelamedu in the city on Tuesday. —

Coimbatore: All the four wheels of a goods wagon slipped off the rails at the loop line of the railway yard at Peelamedu on Tuesday morning.

It is learnt that the wagon slipped off the rails while shunting was on.

Since the derailment took place in the railway yard loop line normal traffic remained unaffected.
