Two policemen suspended

KOLAR: Superintendent of Police Vipul Kumar has ordered suspension of Kannaiah, head constable at the Vemgal police station in Kolar taluk, and Chowdappa, head constable at the Mulbagal station.

The action comes in the wake of complaints that the two policemen are helping some truckers to transport sand in violation of law. They have been suspended pending a departmental inquiry.
