Ganeshotsav ends tomorrow

Thiruvananthapuram: The Ganeshotsav Trust in association with Shiv Sena will organise a procession of Ganesha idols on September 15 to mark the end of this year’s Ganeshotsav celebrations.

In a press release issued here on Saturday, the Ganshotsav Organising Committee said the procession would begin from the Pazhavangady Ganapathy Temple at 3 p.m. Film stars Suresh Gopi and Dileep would be present at the inaugural function.

Ganesha idols from 1,300 centres would take part in the procession. The organising committee members met with senior police officers in the city regarding the conduct of the procession.
