FSB to screen two films today

BHUBANESWAR: As part of its monthly screening schedule, Film Society of Bhubaneswar (FSB) has announced to screen two films on Sept 14 evening at Jayadev Bhavan auditorium here.

FSB officials informed that the first film of the evening would be Italian filmmaker Nanni Moretti’s much acclaimed film The Son’s Room that tells the compelling tale of the fragile fabric of human life. Nanni, one of Italy’s leading contemporary filmmakers, made the film in 2001. The other film of the evening would be Buffalo Boy, the debut of Minh Nguyen-Vo in 2004 that is based on the growing-up experience of the filmmaker in pre-war Vietnam. FSB has made a change in its usual screening and instead of the second fortnight, it has shifted the show to the second Sunday of this month, he added.
