TDP to press for disbursal of crop loans

ADILABAD: The Adilabad unit of Telugu Desam Party (TDP will organise a picketing of the Adilabad District Cooperative Central Bank (DCCB) on September 16 to protest delay in disbursal of crop loans. The party will also organise a padayatra in October-November in the mandals of Jainad, Bela and Adilabad to create awareness about the government’s going back on assurances related to Lower Penganga project.

Addressing a press conference Telugu Rythu district president B. Goverdhan Reddy and other TDP leaders said the delay in disbursal of loans was caused because the government failed to release money to the DCCB. He demanded that the government release the amount with regard to loan waiver soon.

The TDP leaders pointed out the empty promise of getting Rs. 42 crores sanctioned for a bridge on Satnala river.
