Delhi Government, Armenia sign MoU

NEW DELHI: A memorandum of understanding was signed at Delhi Secretariat between the cities of Delhi and Yerevan in the Republic of Armenia on Saturday. Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit and the Mayor of Yerevan Yervand Zakharyan were the signatories to the MoU.

According to the MoU, the two cities will work towards strengthening existing friendship and cooperation between them. It envisages developing cooperation between the two cities in the fields of local self-government, economy, trade, science, technology, culture, sports, education and the environment.
