Advani meets Kailas

BANGALORE: Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha L. K. Advani visited the Manipal Hospital on Saturday to meet Bharatiya Janata Party State Secretary S. Kailas who has been admitted there. Mr. Advani enquired about the health of Mr. Kailas, who is suffering from kidney-related problems. Mr. Kailas, who is one of the senior-most workers of the party, had been imprisoned in the Bangalore Central Jail during the Emergency along with Mr. Advani and other leaders. Medical Education Minister Ramachandra Gowda accompanied Mr. Advani to the Hospital. — Special Correspondent
