State-level workshop

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Ministry of Labour and Employment of the Union government, the Department of Labour and Rehabilitation of Kerala and the Comprehensive Health Insurance Agency(CHIAK), a State government undertaking are jointly organising a State-level workshop on the Rahstriya Swasthya Bima Yogana and the Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme in the Mascot Hotel here on September 15. It will be inaugurated by the Labour Minister P.K. Gurudasan at a function to be chaired by the Minister for Health and Social Welfare, P.K. Sreemathy. Sudha Pillai, Secretary and Anil Swarup, Joint Secretary and Director General, Labour Welfare, Ministry of Labour and Employment are among those scheduled to speak. An MoU will also be signed by the Union government and the CHIAK at the function. —Special Correspondent
