15 fresh cases of dengue in Delhi

New Delhi: Fifteen fresh cases of dengue were reported in the national Capital on Saturday, taking the number of infected people to 224 this season.

The rise in the number of cases continued, even as the civic agencies grappled to deal with the striking staff of mosquito breeding checkers, who have gone off work demanding regularisation of jobs.

“Fifteen more patients tested positive for the virus on saturday taking the number of afflicted persons to 224 this season,” said V K Monga, MCD Public Health Committee Chairman.
