Cardiology unit

Bangalore: To provide holistic and affordable cardiology and catheterisation laboratory facilities to people residing in North Bangalore, a cardiology centre was launched in Bangalore Baptist Hospital on Friday. Lokayukta N. Santosh Hegde, who inaugurated the cardiology centre, expressed displeasure over the lack of modern facilities in government hospitals. Suranjan Bhattacharji, director of Christian Medical College, Vellore, said the cardiology services in the hospital would be available round-the-clock. — Staff Reporter
