Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party has decided to field Sukhsagar Mishra ‘Madhur’ as the party candidate for Hardoi Assembly by-election which was necessitated following the resignation of the former transport Minister, Naresh Agarwal, who has since joined the BSP. Party spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary said Mr. Mishra’s name was finalised by party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav. The dates for the by-election are expected to be announced by the election commission soon, Mr. Chaudhary added. PTI
