Jalandhar: Husband and three of his family were booked on the charge of abetting the suicide of a woman at Shiv Nagar here, police said. Rajni (27) wife of Atul Verma in Shiv Nagar, allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a speeding train. According to her family, she took the extreme step as her family was unable to meet the dowry demands of the in-laws. Her mother Pushpa Rani lodged a complaint with GRP police station, accusing the Vermas of being responsible for her death.
