Jaipur: Resident doctors of all the six medical colleges in Rajasthan went on an indefinite strike since Friday night, demanding their inclusion in pay band scheme announced in the Sixth Pay Commission report. Health Secretary Govind Sharma said medical services were not affected by the stir. The demand of resident doctors had been sent to finance department for consideration, he added. Meanwhile, the Resident Doctors’ Association claimed that the strike was successful.
