Sitapur: A woman killed her two children before attempting suicide in Jatpurva village under Maholi police station here on Saturday, police said. The woman, who was depressed due to marital discord, used a sharp-edged weapon to slit the throat of her three-year-old daughter and four-month-old son before seriously injuring herself, police said. Neighbours rushed her to the district hospital from where she was referred to Lucknow.
