Profit share

The Visakhapatnam Steel Plant had agreed to pay a five per cent share from the profit of the financial year 2006-07, according to the recognized union Visakha Steel Workers’ Union.

The general secretary of the union N. Rama Rao said that the management had said the decision on this would be taken at the board of directors meeting to be held on September 21. Among other issues that would be taken up at the meeting would be bonus and trainees’ stipend, he added.
