KOZHIKODE: P. Nived, J.S. Sheetal and Antia Jose have bagged the first prize in the general section in the painting contest organised by the District Child Welfare Committee at Zamorin’s Higher Secondary School here recently. C.P. Riya, Anu Aravind and K. Geetika came second. Arshad Khan, M.K. Muhammed, T.M. Basin Ali and M.U. Mubaris won the first prize in the topic–wise category contest organised on the occasion. The second prizes were bagged by Benin George, C.T. Fatimath Hasna, and M.U. Muhasin. The prizes and certificates will be distributed to winners at a programme to be held on Children’s Day. The best five entries in each group will be forwarded for participation in the Sharmaji Memorial all-Kerala Painting contest. — Staff Reporter
